Does deleting my Your Baby Club account stop partner offer emails?
Unsubscribe or delete: which Your Baby Club control do I need?
The Your Baby Club FAQ answers “I would like to Unsubscribe from your emails” with one link, then a second line: “To delete your Your Baby Club account click here.” Those are two jobs. Parents who only want the inbox to quieten often need the first. Parents who want the hub login gone need the second — and still have partner lists to tidy.

| Control | Where the club puts it | What it covers | What it does not cover |
|---|---|---|---|
| Unsubscribe / preferences | FAQ “unsubscribe” link; email footer | Club alerts and communication preferences, including third-party contact if you change that toggle | A brand list you joined by claiming an offer |
| Delete account | FAQ “delete your Your Baby Club account” link | The hub login the FAQ names | Partner mailing lists created when you claimed a freebie |
| Pause / skip / cancel box | My Purchases or order-confirmation links | The paid monthly Your Baby Box subscription | The freebie club or partner emails |
How do I delete a Your Baby Club account?
- Open the FAQ delete link On yourbabyclub.co.uk/faq, use the line that says to delete your Your Baby Club account. That is the door the club publishes next to unsubscribe.
- Or email the hub If the link fails, the FAQ names [email protected]. Say you want the account deleted, and give the email you registered.
- List the offers you claimed The FAQ on “random companies” says details go to brands you choose when you claim. Write down those brand names from My Offers or your inbox before the login dies.
- Opt out of each partner footer After the hub is gone, each leftover From-line is a separate list. Use that brand's unsubscribe, not another Your Baby Club click.
The privacy notice says you receive marketing from third parties only if you opted in, and that claiming a specific offer gives permission to pass your details to that offer provider. Deleting the hub does not retract a pass that already happened.
Why do partner emails continue after I delete the account?
Your Baby Club's UK terms say that registering for goods and services — including claiming freebies, samples, vouchers or signing up on a partner site via the hub — means you agree to be contacted by the club and those third parties, and that you are placed on those mailing lists. The unsubscribe route they name for those lists is the footer on mail from the club or from the third party.
That is why a deleted login is not a recall. The partner is now a controller of its own copy. GOV.UK's direct-marketing page treats each organisation that emails you as needing its own opt-out.
Is pausing Your Baby Box the same as leaving the freebie club?
No. The FAQ's monthly subscription block is a paid box. It tells you to pause, skip or cancel under My Purchases or via order-confirmation links, and to email [email protected] if you want to cancel before the welcome box lands. That stops a charge. It does not delete the freebie account or unwind partner opt-ins.
In shortUnsubscribe to quieten club mail. Delete the account if you want the hub gone. Claimed freebies sit on the brand's list until you opt out there. Paid box cancel is a third, separate product.
Questions parents ask
- I only signed up — I never claimed an offer. Do I still need to delete?
- The FAQ says you are not automatically sent everything from partners on sign-up. Unsubscribe may be enough if you never claimed. Delete if you want the login gone as well.
- The FAQ says they never sell details to unnamed third parties. Why am I still getting random brands?
- Their wording is that details go to brands you choose when you claim. A claim is an opt-in to that company. Random-looking mail is often that brand, or a further list that brand runs — not proof the hub sold a nameless file.
- Does deleting the account stop SMS as well?
- Club email preferences and SMS are different channels. If texts continue, reply STOP to that sender or use the club's communication-preference link. A separate MayTally page covers Reply STOP.
- Can MayTally delete the account for me?
- No. Use the FAQ delete link or [email protected]. MayTally does not hold Your Baby Club logins.
