Does Aldi restock baby Specialbuys after Thursday?

What has Aldi actually published about restocking?

Aldi's Understanding Specialbuys page says it brings new Specialbuys every Thursday and Sunday, and "once they're gone they're gone". The main Specialbuys hub repeats in-store every Thursday and Sunday, whilst stocks last. The 16 July 2026 press release for the Baby and Toddler Event used the same line: once they are gone, they are gone.

None of those pages set out a Saturday refill, a midweek top-up, or a promise that a sold-out Thursday baby line will return. Baby-event trackers say most Specialbuys are limited runs and, once they sell out in store, they do not usually come back.

If a restock timetable is not on Aldi's Specialbuys or press pages, treat Saturday-refill rumours as unverified. Staff may put leftover cartons on the floor; that is not the same as a published refill of Thursday's list.

Is the Sunday drop a restock of Thursday's baby event?

No. Thursday and Sunday are two published drop days, not two chances at the same trolley. Baby Event UK notes that weekly Specialbuys sit on Thursday and Sunday, while the big baby events are usually a Thursday (sometimes a Monday around Easter). The Sunday cages are a different advertised list.

How do I check stock without inventing a restock day?

   Read this week's leaflet first Aldi says you can pick up a leaflet in store, browse the digital leaflet, or use its email sneak preview. Tick only items you already needed — NHS Best Start in Life says you do not need everything for a newborn on day one.

   Use the stock checker as an estimate Aldi's product-detail page states: the stock checker is updated frequently, but because products are popular the availability displayed is just an estimate. The help article "Why can't you tell me what you've got in stock?" says Specialbuys go quickly and the best way to get an idea is to go into a store.

   Treat another branch as a separate shop A green estimate at a second postcode is still an estimate. Aldi has not published a transfer or hold service for middle-aisle baby kit.

   If Thursday is empty, read Sunday's list as new Do not assume the highchair or monitor will be re-caged. Check the Sunday leaflet. If the line is not on it, it is not a published restock.

Will another Aldi, or the website, have Thursday's sold-out item?

Aldi says Specialbuys are exclusively available in store. Older PlayPennies posts about pre-ordering a baby event online describe a previous setup. Baby Event UK's 2026 page says Specialbuys are no longer sold online and the weekly flyer is how you see what is coming. Do not plan a Saturday click-and-collect from a 2021 article.
