Is the Emma's Diary book from your GP the same as the gift pack?

What is the booklet from the GP or midwife?

Emma's Diary's publications page describes a printed pregnancy guide that mums-to-be can collect from a GP or midwife. The brand lists week-by-week development notes, trimester checklists, a medical A–Z, a diary section, and features it says were developed with the Royal College of Midwives on topics such as sepsis and pregnancy vaccinations.

That object is a book. It may include adverts and money-off pages. It is handed out in clinic, not scanned at Argos.

How is that different from the high-street gift pack?

Is the guide an NHS publication?

No. It is a commercially published guide. Emma's Diary says the health content is based on current NHS guidance and government recommendations, reviewed by practising GPs and midwives, and aligned to NHS, NICE and Baby Friendly Initiative wording. That is an editorial claim by the publisher, not a statement that the NHS printed the book.

For booking care, vitamins, vaccinations and feeding, use NHS Best Start in Life and refer yourself for NHS pregnancy care. A branded clinic book is extra reading, not your maternity record.

How do I collect the sample bags if I already have the book?

The book does not unlock the bags. They are separate club products.

   Open the gift-pack voucher Print it or show the app barcode for Mum-to-Be (early pregnancy) or Bump-to-Baby (from week 27).

   Take the voucher to a named shop July 2026 steps name Argos or Boots. Some Bump-to-Baby copy also names Sainsbury's. Stock is a till question.
