How do I join Boots Parenting Club in the UK?

Do I need a Boots Advantage Card before I join?

Yes. Boots states that Parenting Club is exclusive to Advantage Card holders. The official name is Parenting Club, not Baby Club — search results still use the old nickname. The card itself is free. Advantage Card terms say you must be a United Kingdom resident aged 13 or over. Parenting Club has a higher floor: Boots' FAQ says you can join from age 14.

A plastic card from the till still needs registering. Add the card number and the three-digit code under the scratch panel to a boots.com account, or start with a digital card in the Boots app.

How do I join Parenting Club online or in the app?

Boots' own FAQ lists the account path. You sign in (or register) on boots.com, then attach Parenting Club to the same Advantage Card. New cardholders can apply for the card and the club in one pass.

What details does Boots ask for, and why?

The live join page asks for either an expected due date or a child's date of birth. Boots uses that date to target app offers to a pregnancy stage or a child's age. Offers refresh three times a year. Welcome-style app offers are described as available from 12 weeks pregnant, with a possible delay: Boots asks new members to allow up to 16 weeks for app offers to appear.

• One date is enough to join. You do not need a birth certificate on the form.
• Wrong date, wrong offers. If the due date later changes, update it in the same Parenting Club account fields. Boots says updates can take up to three weeks.
• Child name fields appear when you pick 'children under 5'. Twins and a second baby go on the same account, not a second email, unless you want a completely separate card.

Boots' join page copy (checked 10 September 2026): exclusive to Advantage Card members who are expecting a baby or have children under 5, and members collect 8 points for every £1 spent on selected baby and child products.

When do 8 points and app offers actually start?

Treat points and gifts as two clocks. The Parenting Club FAQ says that after a successful sign-up you can use 8 points per £1 on baby products within 24 hours. The Advantage Card terms say the 8-points offer activates within 72 hours. If a till still pays the standard card rate the next day, wait out that 72-hour window and check the account still shows Parenting Club.

App offers and the welcome email are slower. Boots says it can take up to two weeks to receive Parenting Club email and app communications, and up to two weeks after the app is linked before offers appear. A separate T&Cs line on the Parenting Club page says to allow up to three weeks for gift offers to be visible. If nothing has arrived after two weeks, Boots points you to [email protected].

Online 8 points need a linked, logged-in Advantage Card at checkout. An unlinked web order pays the standard card rate even if the club is live in store.

Can grandparents or a carer join instead of a parent?

Boots' FAQ answers both with a yes: grandparents can join, and a carer of a child can join. The same Advantage Card rules apply — UK resident, card registered, Parenting Club dates on the account. Free gifts are still one item per customer and still need the loaded app offer at a staffed till.

Students can hold Parenting Club and Student Discount together. In that overlap Boots says the till pays 10% student discount and 3 points per £1 on applicable purchases, not the 8-points baby rate stacked on top of the student rate.
