How do I load Boots Parenting Club free gifts in the app?
Where are Parenting Club gifts in the Boots app?
They are not a separate Parenting Club inbox. Boots' FAQ says personalised offers are available to redeem in the app, and that you present the loaded app offer with your Advantage Card. In the current app that means the same My Offers list as other Advantage Card coupons. Scroll for tiles labelled as a free gift or Parenting Club offer, matched to the due date or child's age on the account.
- Signed in on the right card. A second phone login, or a partner's unlinked card, shows a different offer set.
- Loaded is not the same as visible. An unloaded tile will not fire at the till even if you can see it.
- The SKU on the tile is the SKU that counts. Boots changes welcome and milestone products. Do not treat a wash, bottle or cream named in an old recap as a standing entitlement.
Boots says Parenting Club app offers are targeted to pregnancy stage, baby or child age, and are refreshed three times each year. Check the live tile, not a screenshot from last season.
How do I load a free-gift offer onto my card?
Boots' Parenting Club terms (checked 10 September 2026) say members must download the Boots app and activate the offers. The in-store path is then: pick the item from the Parenting Club unit, and take it to a Customer Advisor at a till — not the self-serve bank.
- Confirm Parenting Club is on the account In My account → my Advantage Card → Parenting Club, the club should already show as joined, with a due date or child's date of birth. If it does not, join first.
- Open My Offers in the Boots app Use the same login that holds the Advantage Card. Pull to refresh. Gift tiles sit with other personalised offers, not always at the top.
- Activate or load one gift tile Open the tile and use the on-screen Load / Activate control. Boots limits each gift to one per customer. Loading two welcome tiles does not create two claims.
- Check the store is a Parenting Club store Gifts are collected from Parenting Club stores only, from the Parenting Club unit, while stock lasts. Use Boots' store list before you travel.
- Scan the loaded card at a staffed till Show the loaded offer and the Advantage Card (plastic or digital). Self-serve cannot redeem the gift. The line may show 1p — that is the system price, not a separate fee.
Why is My Offers empty after I joined?
Boots publishes three different waits, and they are easy to mix up. The 8-points rate is the fast one (FAQ: 24 hours; terms: 72 hours). App gift tiles are slower.

| What you are waiting for | Boots' published wait | What to check first |
|---|---|---|
| 8 points on selected baby products | FAQ: 24 hours; terms: 72 hours | Card scanned / linked and logged in |
| Welcome email and app communications | Up to two weeks | Contact preferences on the account |
| Gift offer visible in the app | Up to three weeks (page T&Cs); up to two weeks after the app is linked (FAQ) | Same login as the Advantage Card |
| Welcome-style offers from 12 weeks pregnant | Allow up to 16 weeks after joining | Due date on the account |
If the app is downloaded, you are signed in, the club is on the card, and the longest published wait has passed, Boots' FAQ says to email [email protected]. Forum threads that say "the coupons are missing" are often still inside that window, or looking at a partner's login.
How often do the gifts change, and can I take more than one?
Boots says the Parenting Club app offers are refreshed three times each year and are limited to one per customer. Stock is while stocks last. The product on today's tile is not a permanent catalogue.
The official FAQ currently lists stage-targeted gifts (welcome wash or bath, a bottle-and-soother pack in late pregnancy and the first weeks, breast pads, a folic-acid-and-vitamin-D pack in late pregnancy, and later toddler tiles). Those lines are useful as a map of life stages, not as a shopping list to print. If a tile is not in your app, that stage is not live for your dates.
Gifts are in-store only. They do not apply on boots.com even when the card is linked. Online checkout can still apply points and some loaded discount offers; the free physical gift cannot travel in a delivery box under the current terms.
In shortOpen My Offers on the same login as the card, load one live tile, then take that item to a staffed till in a Parenting Club store. Empty offers after a fresh join is usually a wait, not a missing coupon code.
Questions parents ask
- Do the gifts load automatically when I join?
- No. Boots says you must download the app and activate the offers. Joining the club unlocks the 8-points rate; it does not drop a gift into the basket on its own.
- Can I redeem a loaded gift online?
- Boots' Parenting Club terms say free gifts are redeemed in store only and not at self-serve. Link the card for online points; do not expect the physical gift to apply at web checkout.
- I loaded the offer last month. Is it still there?
- Open the tile again before you travel. Offers are stage-targeted and refresh three times a year. An expired or unloaded tile will not scan, even if you remember loading it.
- Can two adults in one household each load the welcome gift?
- Boots writes the limit as one item per customer. A second Advantage Card on a second adult is a separate customer in the till system. Boots can still refuse a duplicate if it treats the household as one claim — the published rule is per customer, not per baby.
