How do Superdrug Health and Beautycard points work on baby products?

What is the evergreen points rate on baby products?

There is no separate baby multiplier. Superdrug's Beautycard terms clause 3.5 set one point for every £1/€1 on qualifying purchases in store, on superdrug.com and in the app, after discounts. The about-card page and the FAQ repeat the same rate. Clause 4.9 sets the spend value at 1 point = 1 penny, in increments of 100 (clause 4.2).

Which? flags the useful difference from Boots: Superdrug lets you mix points and cash. You do not need enough points to cover the whole basket. Boots Advantage Card terms still require enough points to cover the product.

Does Superdrug give milestone baby gifts?

The terms and the about-card page list member pricing, Treat Thursday, bonus-point events, a birthday treat, VIP spend tiers and free standard delivery over a member threshold. They do not list a pregnancy welcome pack, a staged bottle gift, or an under-five club.

Time-limited baby events and student or key-worker codes sit outside that evergreen card. Voucher round-ups change by month. They are not a substitute for a Parenting Club-style gift calendar. If Superdrug is running a baby event, the app or till poster for that week is the offer, not this page.

VIP Reward Tier 2 (a £75 spend unlock in the terms) is an own-brand trial product Superdrug chooses — skincare and similar, not a baby milestone gift. Tiers expire three months after they appear on the app.

How do I earn and spend points on a baby shop?

   Pick up or open a Health and Beautycard Cards are free in store. You can earn as soon as you have one. You cannot spend until the card is registered and Superdrug has emailed that the account is activated (terms 1.4–1.6).

   Register if you want to spend, or to earn online Register at superdrug.com, in store or in the app. Online points need the card attached to the signed-in account. In store, present the card before you pay.

   Check the exclusions before the baby aisle Terms 3.4 and 4.5 exclude stamps, mobile top-up, NHS services, prescription medicines, delivery costs, infant milk formula and gift cards from earning and from spending. Other lines can be excluded if Superdrug posts a notice.

   Part-pay in 100-point blocks Tell the cashier how many hundreds to use, or choose a block at online payment. Superdrug's own example: 200 points against a £1.49 line covers £1; you pay 49p.

   Wait for the balance to catch up In-store points may take at least 24 hours to show. Online points are added when the order is dispatched and may take at least five working days (term 4.7).

What are the age and expiry rules?

From 16 September 2024, Superdrug says you must be at least 13 to apply in the United Kingdom, and at least 16 in the Republic of Ireland (term 1.1). Existing members aged 12 can still earn and spend. Superdrug will not message a customer until the age of consent it names. VIP Rewards need age 13+ in the UK (term 7.1); an older line on the same page still talks about VIP from 16 — the 13+ sentence is the later VIP clause.

• 24-month point life (1.9 and 4.10). Points expire 24 months after they are added if unused.
• 12-month inactivity on points (4.10). Points stay valid for those 24 months “so long as your account is not inactive in any 12 month rolling period.”
• 36-month account life (1.10). The account stays open if you use the card at least once in any rolling 36 months; after 36 months of inactivity it is closed.
• FAQ shorter version. Superdrug's FAQ says unused-for-12-months accounts are treated as having left and points expire. If 4.10 and the FAQ ever disagree on a live balance, ask Superdrug's customer team with the receipt.
