What does the live Bounty join form ask for?

The join panel that sits on Bounty’s packs page (checked 10 September 2026) marks these fields with a star:

A tick box on the same panel asks whether you want Bounty emails, including baby-development updates and offers from Bounty and on behalf of its selected partners. Submitting the form is treated as agreeing to Bounty’s terms, privacy policy and cookie policy.

What categories does the 20 May 2025 privacy policy list?

Joy Memories Inc (trading as Bounty in the UK) is named as data controller. Bounty Media Limited in Stevenage is the UK GDPR representative. The policy, last updated 20 May 2025, groups personal information as:

• Name, postal address, email and phone number — marketing or service messages; phone also for a product recall or similar urgent safety issue.
• Your date of birth — age validation and personalisation.
• Due date, pregnancy status, whether you have children, how many and their ages — to align emails and offers to pregnancy stage.
• After birth: baby’s name, gender and date of birth — the same targeting, plus first-name statistics.
• App and website technical data — device type, OS, anonymised device ID, IP address, pages viewed; the app may ask for location.
• Contact history — phone, email or social messages used for customer service.

The policy says Bounty will not sell your personal information to Bounty Partners, and will only share it with a partner if you have consented, in which case that partner may write to you directly. It also says data is kept until the youngest child named on the account turns five, then deleted.

What did historic hospital claim cards ask that the join form does not star?

This is a different channel from today’s website form. Privacy International (15 September 2021) described Bounty collecting data from the website, the app, pack claim cards, and directly from new mothers at hospital bedsides. On the ward it recorded:

The same High Court judgment records that Bounty told the ICO it had shared more than 35 million personal-data records with 39 organisations in that 2017–18 window, including Acxiom, Equifax, Indicia and Sky, and that the fair-processing notices then in use did not say so. The ICO fined Bounty (UK) Ltd £400,000 in April 2019. That is historic enforcement, not a description of the May 2025 form.

Do you have to hand this data over to receive the prenatal folder?

Bounty’s pack FAQ says the prenatal folder is given by a health professional at around 12 weeks, at main hospital antenatal clinics, GP surgeries and private scan clinics. It does not list a claim-card as a condition. If a clinic has run out, Bounty asks for the venue address by email to [email protected] so more folders can be sent to the clinic, not to your home. It says it cannot post packs to individuals.

   Separate the folder from the account Ask the midwife, GP or scan clinic for the Pregnancy Information Folder. That hand-over is a clinic stock question, not a bounty.com password.

   Read the live form before you type If you do want the emails, open the join panel and note every starred field and the partner-email tick box. The May 2025 policy is the document that explains due date, baby name and retention to age five.

   Treat optional clubs as a second controller The policy says other Membership Clubs offered at registration are optional. If you join one, that club becomes a separate data controller. The names on the policy page change; read that page rather than a third-party partner round-up.

What does Bounty say it will not do with pack data now?

The May 2025 policy states it will not sell personal information to Bounty Partners. Partner messages, it says, are sent by Bounty unless you have consented to a partner writing to you directly. It lists industry sectors (from automotive to travel) and says an up-to-date list of named partners lives on Bounty’s own site. This article does not reproduce or invent that list — open Bounty’s current partner page on the day you join.

A separate, optional Membership Club step is named on the policy. Unsubscribing from Bounty does not unsubscribe those clubs; each club needs its own stop request.

Why do voucher sites skip this field list?

Voucher round-ups usually list samples and codes. They rarely print the starred join fields or the ICO-era claim-card list. If you only want the clinic folder, the data trade on bounty.com is optional. If you want the weekly emails, the due date and postcode are the fields that make those emails possible — that is the policy’s own targeting description, not a side effect.
