How the Lidl baby and toddler event works in store

Is this a standing baby aisle or a Middle of Lidl drop?

A Lidl baby and toddler event is a time-limited middle-aisle range, not the everyday Lupilu nappy bay. Lidl's own Baby and Toddler Event page (checked 10 September 2026) headed the September 2026 drop as Middle of Lidl, in store from Thursday 3 September, with offer wording 3–9 September 2026, subject to availability.

Baby Event UK says the range is in-store only, lasts until stock runs out, and that popular lines often go on day one. It also notes a pattern of a January event and a September event. That pattern is a tracker observation, not a Lidl calendar you can book.

Do I shop Thursday or Sunday?

The Liverpool Echo describes Middle of Lidl stock as generally changing every Thursday and Sunday. A baby event can open on either day: Baby Event UK logged 11 January 2026 as a Sunday start and the Echo's later recap as a Thursday return. Read the leaflet for this week, not last year's weekday.

How do I walk the event without buying a second kit?

   Present Lidl Plus at the till if you are using an offer Lidl's event page said Lidl Plus wording applies to account holders aged 18+ in Lidl GB branches, must be presented at purchase, and is subject to the app T&Cs. The coupon is not a rain-check if the cage is empty.

How do Lidl Plus prices stack on the baby event?

Lidl Plus is an in-app offer applied at checkout, not a parallel catalogue. The September 2026 event page said offers could be used more than once unless stated, that a spend coupon (if you have one) applies after the item offer, and that you must present the account at the time of purchase. The Echo recap of one week showed some toys with a Lidl Plus price under a higher regular event price — that is one week's example, not a standing discount card.

You do not need Lidl Plus to walk the aisle. You do need it if the leaflet marks a Plus-only figure. Empty stock plus a Plus coupon still equals empty stock.
